Sailfish, Marlin and Dorado can be caught in the Pacific waters outside the bay of Acapulco. Renting a fishing yacht is a popular activity that can make your trip a memorable one! Acapulco Snorkeling and Scuba Diving
We have many interesting places to dive in Acapulco such as sunken ships, walls, sea mountains, Roqueta Island (shallow & calm dives), caves (rock formations) and more. You can find sandy and rock bottom with small coral formations, sea fans, barnacles, gorgonians, sea stars, trumpet fishes, jacks, mackerel, sea horses, eels, sea snakes and sometimes turtles, whale sharks and mantarrays depending on the season.

The average water temperature in Acapulco is 82 F, 3mm Wetsuit is recommended, although not required and is provided by our Acapulco Scuba Center. Visibility may vary from one day to another, average 30ft to 40ft (10 -13 meters).

FOR CERTIFIED DIVERS We have daily: Two tank diving trips from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. Price per person: $ 50 USD Includes: Dive Master, tanks, weights and lunch. Only $10 USD for gear rental (regulator and BCD).

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BECOME CERTIFIED: The Openwater Scuba Dive Course takes only four days. Two days in the pool (five modules) and two days in the Ocean (four Scuba boat dives) with four classroom sessions (five modules and final exam).
Price per person $ 350 USD. Includes: Full gear rental, academic & pool session, four boat dives with lunch on board, instructor tuition and certification.

IF YOU JUST WANT TO TRY SCUBA FOR BEGINNERS: For resort program in Acapulco, after a short lesson on basics rules of Scuba Diving, we can give you a safe diving tour. All beginner divers are partnered with a liscensed Instructor. Price per person: $ 60 USD. Includes: One boat dive, gear rental, Instruction Fee and refreshments on board.

Acapulco Shotover Jet
Try an exciting new activity in Acapulco, a Shotover Jet boat ride on the Papagayo river. Enjoy the emotions of skimming along at 70 Km. per hour while at the same time enjoy the natural beauty of the river. This is a fun family activity!

Acapulco Water Skiing
Acapulco is the ideal place for water skiing, which was virtually invented here. Whether it is in fresh water, in the Coyuca lagoon, or in the salt water of Acapulco bay, this is one of the best places in the world to water-ski. Since the time of Don Miguel Aleman the water-ski shows of Acapulco, with their risky jumps, somersaults and turns performed by athletes from all over the world, make the public hold its breath. Inquire about renting a ski boat and/or instructor.

Acapulco Parasailing, Jet ski and Motor Boats
The calm waters of Acapulco are perfect for all types of water sports. Parasailing, which was invented in Acapulco, can give you a thrilling view of the beautiful bay of Acapulco. Jet skis, bobby cats and "broncos" (mini motor boats) can be rented all around the bay. Security is your own responsibility so please take precautions and follow instructions carefully.

Acapulco Windsurfing
Windsurfing is getting more and more popular in Acapulco. Rentals are available at several places in Acapulco including El Colonial, a restaurant and water sports center near the zocalo and Boca Chica Hotel.
